Lucas County's High-Crash Roads and Intersections (2020-2022 Data)
Where do crashes cluster in Lucas County? TMACOG, the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments, publishes the roads and intersections where crashes concentrate, and the TMACOG Safety Locations Report 2020-2022 is the most recent. TMACOG's ranked list holds the Toledo locations that meet ODOT's safety-funding threshold (3 or more crashes a year and at least 30 percent fatal or injury crashes); its appendix lists every monitored Toledo location with its raw crash count for 2020-2022. Every figure below is quoted from the agency's own report with its data years, and each line links to its source.

What a crash count does and does not tell you
A crash count describes a road, not who caused a particular crash. Fault in an Ohio injury claim turns on the evidence from that crash: the crash report, photos, witnesses and vehicle data. Ohio's comparative fault rule reduces a recovery by the injured person's share of fault and bars it above 50 percent (Ohio Rev. Code § 2315.33), and most Ohio injury lawsuits must be filed within two years (Ohio Rev. Code § 2305.10).
Hurt in a crash in Lucas County?
Get medical care the same day; photograph the vehicles, the roadway and your injuries; get the crash report number from the responding agency; collect witness names and phone numbers; and say nothing to the other driver's insurance company until you have talked to a lawyer.
