Mahoning County's High-Crash Roads and Intersections (2018-2022 Data)
Where do crashes cluster in Mahoning County? The Eastgate Regional Council of Governments publishes the roads and intersections where crashes concentrate, and Eastgate's 2024 Safe Streets and Roads for All safety action plan is the most recent. Eastgate's High Injury Network counts fatal or serious-injury crashes of any mode in 2018-2022, so its numbers are smaller than total crash counts and measure the most serious outcomes. Every figure below is quoted from the agency's own report with its data years, and each line links to its source.

What a crash count does and does not tell you
A crash count describes a road, not who caused a particular crash. Fault in an Ohio injury claim turns on the evidence from that crash: the crash report, photos, witnesses and vehicle data. Ohio's comparative fault rule reduces a recovery by the injured person's share of fault and bars it above 50 percent (Ohio Rev. Code § 2315.33), and most Ohio injury lawsuits must be filed within two years (Ohio Rev. Code § 2305.10).

Get medical care the same day; photograph the vehicles, the roadway and your injuries; get the crash report number from the responding agency; collect witness names and phone numbers; and say nothing to the other driver's insurance company until you have talked to a lawyer.
