Summit County's High-Crash Roads and Intersections (2022-2024 Data)
Where do crashes cluster in Summit County? AMATS, the Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Study, publishes the roads and intersections where crashes concentrate, and the AMATS Crash Report 2022-2024 is the most recent. AMATS lists intersections with at least 9 crashes and at least 30 percent fatal or injury crashes over 2022-2024, and ranks them by a composite score of crash count, crash rate and fatal-and-injury share. Every figure below is quoted from the agency's own report with its data years, and each line links to its source.

What a crash count does and does not tell you
A crash count describes a road, not who caused a particular crash. Fault in an Ohio injury claim turns on the evidence from that crash: the crash report, photos, witnesses and vehicle data. Ohio's comparative fault rule reduces a recovery by the injured person's share of fault and bars it above 50 percent (Ohio Rev. Code § 2315.33), and most Ohio injury lawsuits must be filed within two years (Ohio Rev. Code § 2305.10).

Get medical care the same day; photograph the vehicles, the roadway and your injuries; get the crash report number from the responding agency; collect witness names and phone numbers; and say nothing to the other driver's insurance company until you have talked to a lawyer.
